IMU eLearning Innovation Award

IMU e-Learning would like to express our thanks to those staff who have submitted their projects for eLearning Awards 2019. We would like to announce that IMU e-Learning Awards 2019 is still open and the deadline to submit your application is on 2 August 2019.


The aims of the IMU e-Learning awards are to:
  • Recognize IMU staff who produce e-learning innovations
  • Promote the use of e-Learning at IMU
  • Encourage the use of educational technology to transform learning
  • To create innovative learning experiences by using technology

Participants who enrolled for eLearning Innovation Award 2019 will have to showcase the product during IIInovasi Competition. Three (3) contestants from IMU who achieved highest points from this competition will be nominated for IMU elearning Award 2019 during University Day

WHO CAN JOIN

Open to IMU Faculty. The participations are through product showcase and also poster presentation during IIInovasi Competition.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
  • Participation may be as individual or in group (there’s no limit to members per team)
  • Learning innovation project (web tools used, creative content development, online collaboration, flipped classroom activities, social media application, individual or team projects, etc.).
  • Participants are allowed to submit more than one entry (different project).
  • Each entry must submit a completed entry form via the Registration link.
  • The organiser reserves the right to reject any application for participation.

JUDGING
  • Product evaluation will be made by experienced judges, selected by the organiser.
  • Participants are to exhibit and demonstrate their innovations in front of a panel of judges during the judging sessions on day 1 and day 2 at the exhibition area.
    • The time allocation for the presentation and question and answer session is 10 minutes. Scoring criteria are based on:
      • Inventiveness
      • Practicality and usefulness
      • Impact on Learning
      • Presentation, content of the poster and Q&A.
  • The judges’ decision is final. Any appeals will not be entertained.
